What Stealth PPF Actually Is
Stealth PPF is the same CovrGard paint protection film we install for impact protection, made with a satin or matte top layer instead of a gloss one. It goes on over your existing paint, so a gloss black car looks satin black, and a gloss white car looks matte white, with the factory finish sealed underneath exactly as it left the factory.
That is the part most people do not expect. A satin or matte look normally means either a respray or a vinyl wrap. Stealth film gives you the finish and the protection in the same layer, and it comes back off later without taking your paint with it. If the goal is a color you do not currently have rather than a finish change, that is color change PPF, which changes the color and protects the paint the same way this film does.
It works the same way in reverse. If your vehicle already left the factory in satin or matte, gloss film is not an option, because it would put a shine on a finish that was never meant to have one. Satin and matte film is the only way to protect that paint and still have it look the way the manufacturer built it. Factory matte takes rock chips exactly like gloss paint does, and it cannot be polished back the way gloss can, so covering it is the practical fix rather than correcting it later.

The paint is washed, decontaminated and inspected before anything else happens. Nothing goes under film until we know what is on the panel.
The Paint Is Sorted Before Any Film
Most stealth builds are satin or matte film going over gloss paint, and gloss gets corrected first, because film locks in whatever is underneath it. Factory satin and matte paint is a different job. It cannot be polished, so there is no correcting it, and prep is decontamination and careful cleaning instead.
Cut to Your Vehicle, Installed Panel by Panel
The film is cut to your specific vehicle and installed panel by panel, wet, with edges wrapped wherever the panel allows it.
It Stays Until Every Panel Is Right
Satin and matte film is less forgiving than gloss on the install, because there is no shine to hide a bad edge. That is why the vehicle stays with us until every panel is right.
Backed two ways
The warranty covers the film failing on its own. CovrGard backs every panel we install for 10 years against yellowing, cracking, peeling and lifting. Satin and matte are covered on the same terms as gloss. If the film failed on its own, the fix costs you nothing.
Our no-fault insurance covers everything the warranty does not. A rock big enough to tear through, a shopping cart in a parking lot, a key down the fender. None of that is a defect, so no manufacturer warranty anywhere pays for it. Ours does, up to $300 toward each panel, for the life of the film, with no limit on how many times you use it, and we do not ask whose fault it was. If you want a color the car does not currently have, we would put you on color change PPF rather than vinyl, so you get the new color and the impact protection in the same film.
No. That is the point of using film for a finish change. The factory paint sits sealed underneath and comes back out the way it went in, which is not something a respray can offer you.
It depends on what your paint already is. If your vehicle came from the factory in satin or matte, yes, front end coverage is the right call. The film matches the finish that is already on the car, so there is no line to see, and satin or matte film is the only film that protects that paint without putting a shine on it.
If your paint is gloss, we would talk you out of it. Satin film on the front end against gloss doors and quarters puts a visible line down the side of the car, and it reads as a mistake rather than a choice. Turning a gloss car satin or matte is a full vehicle decision. If what you want is front end protection on a gloss car, gloss film is what belongs there, and that is our full front package.

Plan on about seven days in the shop. Every panel is corrected and prepped first, the film is installed panel by panel, and the vehicle rests with us afterward so the adhesive sets properly.
Every install comes with our no-fault film insurance. If something outside your control damages the film, we cover up to $300 per panel toward removing the damaged film and installing new film, for as long as that film is on the vehicle. There is nothing extra to buy.
