We have done this before

You found us from outside the Brazos Valley. That happens a lot, and it is not a problem. We take vehicles that are shipped in and vehicles that are driven in, from anywhere in Texas and from out of state.

Clients have sent us vehicles from across Texas and from outside it. Some drive in and make a day of it. Some put the car on a transport and we take over from the moment it lands. Either way the work happens indoors at our College Station shop, one vehicle at a time, which is the whole reason it is worth the distance.

The vehicles that get shipped to us tend to be the ones where there is no room to get it wrong. Supercars, custom builds, one of ones, and cars that are not replaceable. Most of these owners found us on social, watched how we work for a while, and decided the distance was worth it. Nobody puts a car on a trailer on a hunch. They do it because they have already seen enough of the work to know exactly what is coming back to them.

How shipping your vehicle to us works

Eight steps from the search that brought you here to the vehicle back in your driveway. Click any step to see what happens.

Search, referral or social

STEP 1 OF 8

You find us

A search, a referral, or a build you saw on our social. However you got here, you are in the right place. We take vehicles that are driven in and vehicles that are shipped in, from anywhere in Texas and from out of state.

Call or text

STEP 2 OF 8

Call or text us

Most people at this step have just bought the car, or are about to pick it up, and want it protected, or the color or finish changed, before they really start driving it. Tell us the year, make and model and what you want done. Call or text (979) 888-4479 and a real person answers. If it is late, or you would rather type it out, use the quote form at the bottom of this page. You do not need to send photos. We inspect the vehicle in person when it lands and walk it with you then.

STEP 3 OF 8

Written quote, date locked

You get the price and a realistic window in writing before anything is booked. No transport gets arranged against a date we have not confirmed.

Loaded for transport

STEP 4 OF 8

Transport arranged

Two ways to do this. We arrange the transport for you with carriers we already use, or you book your own and we take the vehicle straight from the driver. Enclosed transport is the norm for the cars we usually see. From the moment it comes off the trailer the vehicle is stored inside our building, out of the sun and out of the weather, for as long as it is with us. It does not sit in a lot waiting on a bay.

Inspection under our lights

STEP 5 OF 8

Arrival and inspection

We walk the vehicle the moment it lands, under our lights, and send you photos of what we found before anything starts. If the condition is different from the photos, you hear it from us first.

Protection applied

STEP 6 OF 8

Work performed

Indoors, one vehicle at a time. Film, coating, tint, correction, a color or finish change, or all of it. You get photo updates through the job instead of silence until pickup.

STEP 7 OF 8

Video walkthrough

Before it leaves we record a full walk around of the finished vehicle and send it to you. You see the result and sign off from wherever you are, before it moves.

STEP 8 OF 8

Transport home

We release it to your carrier or you collect it. Aftercare instructions come with it, and we stay reachable once it is back in your driveway.

Where most of these vehicles come from

A lot of what we see comes off the northwest side of Houston, and from there this is a drive rather than a ship. Magnolia is about an hour and ten minutes out. Tomball is about an hour and twenty. The Woodlands and Cypress are about an hour and twenty five. Spring is about an hour and thirty. Inner loop Houston is about an hour and forty five. If you are in that range, driving it up and back is realistic and plenty of owners make a day of it.

Past Houston, shipping usually beats driving. That is where the trailer comes in, and it is what the rest of this page covers. We take vehicles from across the rest of Texas and from out of state on exactly the process laid out above.

What we can do while it is here

Paint protection film, ceramic coating, window tint, paint correction and full detailing. Almost every vehicle shipped to us is here for film, coating and tint, and most get all three in the same visit. The car is already here and the prep overlaps, so stacking them into one build costs less and comes out better than splitting them across three shops. We will still tell you honestly which combinations are worth it on your vehicle and which are not.

Not all of it is protection. A good share of these builds are about changing how the car looks. Stealth film takes a gloss finish to satin or matte without touching the paint under it, and color change film changes the color outright and comes back off when you want the factory paint again. Both go on as film, so the original finish is protected the whole time it is covered. If you are shipping a car in to be customized rather than just protected, that is the same process, same timeline and the same walkthrough at the end.

How long it stays with us

A full front paint protection film install runs about two days. A ceramic coating with correction is two to three. A full body film build can take up to seven. If you are stacking services we give you one combined timeline before you commit, not after.

Shipped vehicles get handled differently from local ones on purpose. A local car can come back next week if a coating wants more cure time. Yours cannot, so the extra cure and storage is built into the stay rather than sending the vehicle home early and asking you to ship it twice. That is time inside our building, out of the weather, and it is part of the job rather than something bolted onto the invoice.

The exact number of days depends on what you are having done and on what we find at inspection. You get one combined timeline in writing at the quote stage, before anything is booked, so transport on both ends can be scheduled against a date that is real.

Who handles the transport

Either way works. You can book your own carrier, or we can arrange it for you with companies we already use. Enclosed costs more than open, and the real number depends on distance, the vehicle and the time of year, so nobody can quote you honestly until we know what we are moving and where it is coming from.

The transport company carries the vehicle and carries the liability while it is on the truck. They also handle the loading. Low clearance, long overhangs, a car that does not like ramps, that is their job and they arrive equipped for it. Anything about fuel level or state of charge comes from the carrier rather than from us, and they tell you before pickup.

Someone has to be at the pickup end to hand the vehicle over. It does not have to be you. On our end you do not need to be here at all. We take the vehicle off the driver ourselves, walk it under our lights, and send you the photos before anything starts.

How payment works when you are not local

A deposit holds your date. Transport is paid in full up front, which is how carriers work regardless of who books it. The work itself is invoiced after it is finished rather than before, and you settle it by card or ACH once you have seen the video walkthrough. Transport home is arranged and handled before the vehicle leaves us, so your car is never sitting on a truck waiting on paperwork.

What is covered after it goes home

Distance does not change the coverage. Film carries a 10 year warranty, window tint is warrantied for life, and the no fault insurance covers damage no matter how it happened. Being a few hundred miles out does not put you in a worse position than somebody who lives ten minutes away.

If something needs attention we work it out with you directly, and where there is a claim to be made we facilitate it from our end instead of handing you a phone number. Full terms live on the paint protection film and window tint pages.
