What CovrGard Film Actually Is
CovrGard is the paint protection film brand we install on every PPF job at Envy This Detailing. It is a clear film that sits over your factory paint and takes the rock chips, the road debris and the parking lot contact that would otherwise land on the finish itself. The paint underneath stays exactly as the factory sprayed it.
We test every product before we offer it, and CovrGard earned its place. It self heals light scratches with heat, it is engineered not to yellow in the Texas sun, and it carries a 10-year manufacturer warranty. Our entire PPF team is trained and certified by CovrGard, which matters as much as the name on the roll, because film is only ever as good as the hands that fit it.
The film is available in gloss, satin, matte, colored, and carbon fiber, so the same protection can leave your vehicle looking exactly as it does now or completely different. A satin or matte finish change is what we call stealth PPF, and a true color change is color change PPF.
We install CovrGard at three coverage levels. Critical Impact starts at $1,600, full front starts at $1,800, and full vehicle starts at $6,000. Film is prevention rather than repair, so the paint is inspected and corrected before anything goes on, and every install is backed by our no-fault film insurance.

How Does Your Vehicle Benefit With CovrGard Film
A Warranty From the Manufacturer
The 10-year manufacturer warranty sits behind the film itself, on top of the work we stand behind. That is a very different promise from a shop warranty written over an unbranded roll of film.
Heat Pulls Light Marks Flat Again
CovrGard film self heals. Fine scratches and swirls in the film lift back out with heat rather than living on the panel the way they would in your clear coat.
It Is Built For This Sun
Texas sun is what kills cheap film. CovrGard is engineered not to yellow, which is what keeps a white hood reading white three summers into owning the car.
Certified Hands, Not Just Certified Film
Every member of our PPF team is trained and certified by CovrGard. Patterns are cut to your exact vehicle, edges are wrapped where the panel allows it, and nothing leaves until every panel is right.
How We Install CovrGard PPF
Wash, Decontaminate and Inspect
The vehicle is washed, decontaminated and inspected before any film is opened. Whatever sits under the film stays under the film.
Correction Happens First
Any correction the paint needs happens before install. This is the step that separates an install that reads factory from one that seals swirls in for the next decade.
Cut to Your Vehicle, Installed Panel by Panel
The film is cut to your specific vehicle and installed panel by panel, wet, with edges wrapped wherever the panel allows it, so there is no line sitting on the face of your paint.
Rest Time Before It Goes Back
The vehicle rests with us afterward so the adhesive sets properly before it goes back on the road.
CovrGard Questions and Answers
Yes. Our entire PPF team is trained and certified by CovrGard. Every paint protection film job that leaves our College Station shop is CovrGard film, fitted by that team.
It is a clear protective film that installs over your factory paint. It takes the rock chips, road debris and parking lot contact that would otherwise land on the finish, and the paint underneath stays the way the factory sprayed it.
Critical Impact starts at $1,600, full front starts at $1,800, and full vehicle starts at $6,000. Final pricing depends on the vehicle, because a full size truck takes far more film and labor than a coupe. We quote your exact vehicle first.
Yes. CovrGard film carries a 10-year manufacturer warranty. That sits behind the film itself, in addition to the work we stand behind as the installer.
It is engineered not to. Yellowing is what separates cheap film from good film in a climate like ours, and resisting the Texas sun is one of the reasons CovrGard is what we chose to install.
Gloss, satin, matte, colored, and carbon fiber. That means the same protection can leave your vehicle looking exactly as it does now, or change the finish entirely without touching the factory paint.
Yes, on light scratches. Fine marks and swirls in the film pull themselves flat again with heat, so they do not collect on the panel the way they would in your clear coat.
Every install comes with our no-fault film insurance. If something outside your control damages the film, we cover up to $300 per panel toward removing the damaged film and installing new film, for as long as that film is on the vehicle. There is nothing extra to buy.
