No-Fault Film Insurance On Every Film We Install
Every window tint package and every paint protection film install we do comes with our own no-fault insurance on the film. If something outside your control damages it, we cover up to $300 per panel toward taking the damaged film off and putting new film back on, for as long as that film is on your vehicle. There is nothing extra to buy and no premium to pay. It is part of the install.
One thing worth saying plainly so you know exactly what you have: this is coverage we provide ourselves, directly, not a policy sold to you by an insurance company. There is no claim form, no adjuster, and nobody outside our shop deciding whether you are covered. You call us and we handle it.
What No-Fault Actually Means
A film warranty covers the film failing on its own. Bubbling, peeling, purpling, yellowing, lifting at an edge, a defect in the film itself. That is worth having and every film we install carries one.
What a warranty does not cover is the thing that actually happens to people. A rock takes a chunk out of the film on your hood. A tire lets go on a truck in front of you on Highway 6 and throws rubber down the side of your car. A shopping cart finds your door. Your dog gets excited about the back glass. None of that is the film failing, and none of it is your fault either, and at most shops in this town none of it is covered by anybody.
No-fault means we do not ask whose fault it was. We ask which panel.
What We Cover
Up to $300 per panel toward removing the damaged film and installing new film in its place. Per panel, not per vehicle, so a hood and a fender are two separate panels and both are covered.
It lasts the life of the film. Not one year, not three years. As long as that film is on the vehicle, the coverage is on it too.
And we do not cap how many times you use it. If it happens twice in a year, it happens twice in a year. We are not counting.
It Applies To Every Package We Sell
Every paint protection film package, from Critical Impact through Full Front to a full vehicle, and every window tint package, in standard ceramic and in nano ceramic alike. There is no tier of ours that has this and no tier of ours that does not. If we installed film on your vehicle, the coverage is on it. The film we install is CovrGard.
You can see the packages themselves on our paint protection film page and our window tinting page.
How A Claim Works
Call or text us a photo of the panel. We tell you what putting new film on that panel costs, the coverage comes off the top, and if the panel lands at or under $300 you are not paying anything for it. If it is a bigger panel than that, you pay the difference and nothing else.
Then we book you in and put it back the way it was. That is the whole process. No paperwork and no waiting on somebody else to approve it.
Why We Back It Ourselves
Because film is prevention, and prevention that leaves you stuck the first time it does its job is a bad deal. If you paid for paint protection film and a rock takes a piece out of it on the way home, the film worked exactly as designed. It took the hit so your paint did not. Charging you full price to replace the part that saved you is backwards.
Most shops install film and hand you a manufacturer warranty that only pays out if the film itself was defective, which is the one thing that almost never happens. We would rather cover the things that do happen. It costs us money and it is the reason people send us their friends.
The Short Version
Up to $300 a panel. For the life of the film. However many times you need it. On every tint and every paint protection film install we do. Covered by us directly, included with the work, and nothing to sign up for.
If something has already happened to your film, send us a photo and we will tell you where you stand. Call or text (979) 888-4479.
