What Full Front PPF Actually Covers

Full front is the coverage most drivers actually need. It puts CovrGard paint protection film over the entire hood, both full fenders, the front bumper, the headlights, the fog lights and the side mirrors. Everything that faces forward at highway speed ends up under film, and nothing on the front of the vehicle is left as a bare edge waiting for a rock to find it.

The difference between full front and our Critical Impact package is the fenders. Critical Impact covers the entire hood, the front bumper, the headlights, the fog lights and the mirrors, and starts at $1,600. Full front adds both front fenders in full. On either one the film runs out to the natural panel edges, so you never end up with a seam sitting in the middle of the hood catching light and collecting dirt. If you want every painted panel covered instead of just the front, that is our full vehicle PPF, and if you want the finish changed while the paint is protected, stealth PPF does it in satin or matte.

This is prevention, not repair. Film cannot undo a chip that is already in your paint, which is why we inspect the finish first and correct what needs correcting before anything goes on it. If the paint is already where you want it, paint protection film is what keeps it there, and most clients pair full front coverage with a ceramic coating.

Full front PPF starts at $1,800. Final pricing depends on the vehicle, because a Raptor and a Miata are not the same amount of film or the same amount of labor. Every install is backed by our no-fault film insurance.

How Does Your Vehicle Benefit With Full Front PPF

Rock Chips Stop at the Film

The front of a vehicle takes every piece of gravel the truck ahead of you throws back. Film takes that impact so the paint underneath never sees it.

Self Healing Against Light Marks

CovrGard film is self healing. Light swirls and fine scratches in the film pull themselves flat again with heat, so the front end keeps looking new instead of slowly hazing over.

Factory Paint Stays Factory

A front end with no chips is the first thing a buyer or an appraiser looks at. The film keeps the original paint untouched, and it comes off clean when you are done with it.

Cheaper Than Repainting a Hood

Refinishing a hood and both fenders costs more than protecting them, and a repainted panel follows the vehicle on its history report. Preventing the damage is the cheaper line every time.

How We Install Full Front PPF

Wash, Decontaminate and Inspect

Every panel that will carry film is washed, decontaminated and inspected before anything is opened. Film locks in whatever is underneath it, so nothing gets covered until we know exactly what is there.

Correction Happens First

If the paint needs correction, that happens first, not after. Once the film is down, whatever was under it stays under it for as long as the film is on the car.

Cut to Your Vehicle and Installed Wet

The film is cut to your specific vehicle and installed wet, with edges wrapped wherever the panel allows it, so there is no visible line sitting on the face of your paint.

Rest Time Before It Goes Back

The vehicle rests with us before it goes back to you so the adhesive can set properly. We would rather hold it an extra day than hand it back early.

Full Front PPF Questions and Answers

What does full front PPF cover on my vehicle?2026-08-04T17:40:06+00:00

Full front covers the entire hood, both front fenders in full, the front bumper, the headlights, the fog lights and the side mirrors. Every panel that faces forward at highway speed ends up under CovrGard film. Because the film runs out to the natural panel edges, there is no line sitting in the middle of your hood.

How much does full front PPF cost in College Station?2026-06-30T10:00:00+00:00

Full front paint protection film starts at $1,800. Final pricing depends on the vehicle, because a full size truck takes more film and more labor than a small coupe. We quote your exact vehicle before anything is scheduled.

What is the difference between full front and Critical Impact PPF?2026-08-10T22:11:59+00:00

The fenders. Critical Impact covers the entire hood, the front bumper, the headlights, the fog lights and the mirrors, and starts at $1,600. Full front adds both front fenders in full at $1,800. On both packages the film runs out to the natural panel edges, so neither one leaves a line across the middle of your hood.

Do I still need a ceramic coating if I get full front PPF?2026-06-28T10:00:00+00:00

They do two different jobs, and most clients run both. The film is impact protection for the front end. A ceramic coating goes over the rest of the vehicle for gloss and for how much easier the paint is to wash. Coating can also be applied over the film.

Can you see the film once it is installed?2026-06-27T10:00:00+00:00

Installed correctly, you have to look for it. The film is cut to your specific vehicle and the edges are wrapped wherever the panel allows it, so nothing sits on the face of your paint. From a normal viewing distance the front end simply looks like clean paint.

Is the film covered if something damages it?2026-06-26T10:00:00+00:00

Yes. Every install comes with our no-fault film insurance. If something outside your control damages the film, we cover up to $300 per panel toward removing the damaged film and installing new film, for as long as that film is on your vehicle. There is nothing extra to buy.

Will full front PPF fix rock chips that are already in my paint?2026-06-25T10:00:00+00:00

No. Film is prevention, not repair. It cannot undo damage that is already there, which is why we inspect the finish first and correct what needs correcting before any film goes on. Applying film over existing chips just locks them in.

Can the film be removed later without hurting my paint?2026-06-24T10:00:00+00:00

Yes. CovrGard film comes off clean when you are done with it. The paint underneath is the original factory finish, untouched, which is exactly why full front coverage helps at resale. A front end with no chips is the first thing a buyer looks at.
