Chrome delete is the process of covering your vehicle’s factory chrome trim with an adhesive vinyl film so those bright pieces read black instead. How We Install a Chrome Delete
Every piece is cleaned and decontaminated first, because film only holds as well as the surface under it. Trim comes off the vehicle wherever removing it gives a cleaner wrapped edge, and where a piece has to stay on, we work the film into the edge by hand instead of cutting against your paint. Each piece is heated, formed to its shape and post heated so it holds that shape instead of trying to pull flat again. Then everything goes back together. Lifting corners a month later is what rushing this looks like, so we build in the time to do it properly.
